hi brian, like many of us here, we hop up (aka.screw with) our helis till we lower their overall performance. on my 3s 325 rave i was contemplating the 14t pinion. my question, will this reduce the life of the TT or other parts substantially. if so, any suggestions or areas to monitor more often with this setup. thanks! (this is a question for B.B. but anyone with something to add please share)

With that setup you will certainly see very high head speeds, likely in the 3500 rpm range. Yes Curtis has ran this setup before, and of course the performance was quite crisp. There really is no way to tell if anything will wear any sooner with this seup. We have had great luck with the model holding up really well no matter what we threw at it. But be aware good maintenance will save a heli from disaster 90% of the time. So I say just keep a close eye of things and have fun.

I hope this helps some.
