I bet you guys had this question before but how do you get the pitch on the blade400 to be positive 12 at full throttle and neg 12 at no stick? The best i got was 8 pos and 4 neg. Have any of you guys got your b400 at perfect picth?

the most you can get stock is about +10/-10 pitch and +5/-5 cyclic. you should be able to get this without changing anything but radio settings.

Owner,

Your pitch setting sound about right if your running a stock pitch curve. However, you should be about +10 -4 in normal. If you want to see what your stunt pitch curve is, make sure your linear (throttle and pitch) and pitch is 0 at center stick. If it's less than +/- 10 then up your pitch swash mix. If what I said is confusing, check out youtube videos on setup.

Shhh, don't tell the wife.

Sokal11 on youtube has a video out for setting the head up on a blade 400 to get +10/-10 aswell as the proper setup. The videos were easy to follow for this noob to the B400. He does get +12/-12 on one of his motor test vids but the flybar cage binds against the blade grips above +10/-10.

Once the head is set up in idleup mode with linear pitch curves you should have 0 pitch at midstick, and your high and low stick should equal out. Once that is done you just adjust your swash mix to get full +10/-10. Mine were equal at +8 then I had to adjust my swash mix to get full +10/-10 as per sokal's video's.

I did make a dvd of his video's for dx6i basics, headsetup, tail replacement/setup, and gryo/tail servo setup. It is 4.16gig in size but if anyone wants a copy just hookup with me and I will upload it to you to burn off. Great vids for us noobs.
