I looked at the Kontronics and they are right at $300.00!! That is a bunch of green!! I can get the 85HV for $150.00 so I will probably go that route!! Everybody seems to be running the 85HV on a 600E with no issues so we will see what happens!!

I've been running CC esc's for a while now with no issues. It sure sounds like bad setups are causing a lot of problems for people, I've never seen one catch on fire that wasn't being used improperly. I use the Governor on my Phoenix 35 and it works great, IMO with the new software, it's as good at holding hs as a Kontronik, which I have owned as well. They do require a bit more setup than Kontronik, but it's a piece of cake with the Castle Link.

Just my .02 cents, not trying to get into a debate here.

Even according to cc my set up was good. They wondered if the batteries weren't able to keep up with demand causing a "ripple" in voltage. I put a stock Esc on it and didn't change anything else. Worked flawlessly

Update:

Put the 85HV in the 600E and it ROCKS!! We had a fun fly at our field this week and I put about 6 flights on the new ESC and she never even got warm!! I am totally impressed!!

I am going to get a few more batts now!! This thing is fun to fly again!!

Hi Twrecks,
I am seriously thinking to get a CC85HV for my T700E.
Any more issue with it?

thanks

I don't think the 85hv works witht he 700. The way I understand it is that you need to run the 110hv. As for issues, I have had GREAT luck with the 85hv. No issues thus far an I've flown it pretty hard!!

TaleGunner, are you sure of your statement "You won't burn up the 110"
Have a look at that and you may reconsider your point of view
