First flight without charging the battery bumped the HS up to 1900 and a hover flight time of 7 minutes.

Upon charging the maH went to 4700 and then the charger said it was overcharging a cell. I don't really know what this means as I am not very familiar with balanced charging.

So to sum it up the original battery just did not have enough C

Be careful taking the battery down too far. I assume that is the 5000 mah? shoot for 80% of the batteries mah capacity. That would mean taking and putting back 4000.

i have a 5000mah 6s pack, with all metal head and tail...HD gears(they arent needed). I have the same 600+ in my swift for 2 years now, and hasnt had one problem. It gets to about 105 degrees on a 95 degree day, and barely gets warm on a winter day. No complaints about my setup!
i can get 5.5-6 min of flight time before the esc shutdown starts (21.8v)

Yeah , I ran the 600+ for 1 1/2 yrs but it, like a 550+, 'broke' where there is a press fit between the base and the windings. No warning. Luckily it was on spoolup.

Should've bought a sim. Got a bucket of used blades!

I want another pair of the RT 560's.... I really do....!They fly much bigger than the softer 550's.
That is because the 550's are from the "01" series (last 2 numbers in the part number). This series is design to be less agressive and to be more stable in gusty winds, for use in the smoother FAI type, sport aerobatics, or scale.

The 560's are part of the "66" series that are designed to be more agressive for 3D flight.
