Maniacs are sold in UK, FastLad, Midland helis, places such as these all sell the BBT Maniacs.

I charged my Hyperion 6s 5500mah pack up after the logo 500 flight from above yesterday...I put 4950mah back into that pack after that 5 minute flight

That means with my logo 500 setup it's eating 990mah PER MINUTE?

holy crap...what kind of flight times are you logo 500 guys getting?
With a 4020-1100 at 2300 rpm on 560mm rotortechs, 5:20
With a 4025-1100 at 2300 rpm on 560mm rotortechs, 4:35

That's with a hyperion 35c 6s 5000mah pack.
Incidentally, you could barely tell the difference in power between motors on 550mm blades.
Only when run on 600mm blades did the 4025 show more grunt.

Nice flying jag.

I haven't tached my 500 but I think I might be over the 2300 rpm mark..

I might try kicking it down a bit ...see ifI get longer times...
Nice flying jag.

Thanks man...I'm coming off the Winter "break" here so I haven't really been flying for the better part of about 4-5 months...

with some more sim time and LOTS of flying I'm hoping to get back into the saddle

I've never been all that good but I still aspire to one day

BTW...I flew the New SAB blades on my RJX flybarless machine today and they kind of suck...

are their any good flying 620's or 630's you guys would recommend?
how about these? good flying with vbar of course. i like my edge blades but wouldn't mind bigger blades and slightly lower headspeed either.

blades for the logo..
I have tried most of them...and for me...

the SWE/Gohbees are still my overall favorite in the 620mm size..

I have a couple sets of those new SWE 630's but I haven't tried them yet,.....still sitting on the wall

I tried the Edge and didn't like them either...so I guess it all depends on flying style/preference

I think the SWE/Gohbee's are faster than the EDGE...and the SAB's are SLOW as well...

I was running a set of MAH wide chord 600's on my RJX..they weigh 129 grams

I put on the SAB 600's this morning..instead of the 620's...and they weighed in at 142 grams...

I tell you...the 13 grams makes a HUGE difference in flight...the Sab's SUCKED the collective pop right out of the machine and slowed the cyclics quite a bit...

Just my observation

well i haven't got many flights on my SABs, two sets are 134-135 grams each set, but they seem ok actually, stiff for sure. What 600mm is your fav now at moment then Anthony? I've got oodles of blades on my wall I still need to try to. Never have tried the SWE but have heard from more then a few they are soft like the old MAHs... I have not tried the 5G Pro Wide Chords yet but hear apparently they are ok to...

Here's a vid of my new 6003D FBL.

Xera 4030/3Y
12T Mod 1
Edge 603mm
KBDD 92mm Tails
PH-85HV
WR Super BEC
Flighmax 6S 3000 20C x 2
2000 RPM Gov'd
BLS 251/451
VBar w/ Spek Sats plugged directly in... full system running at 5.2V

I think it flies great at this RPM on these light packs... I get 5.5 mins and only draw 2000 mAh with the video's flying style.

Cheers

Cool sillyness as advice to raise insurance level you should run your bec output to 5.6 or 6.0 volts all those servos etc you list can handle 6.0 volts regulated no problems. You will increase perfomance as well maintain far higher above brownout voltage.

Those are SLS (stefans lipo shop) lipo's.

It's a company from Germany, i'm currently using
the Eco powerline packs.

The performance is good, and also the price isn't to crazy

Can the BLS 251 handle 6V on the tail? I thought it was a 4.8V only rated servo?

It's a easy fix... just a switch flip. I can't do 5.6... only 5.2V, 6.0V, or higher. If I ever finds a crazy deal on a Jive I'll get that, but for now stuck with what I have.
