flew me vibe 90 sg today and wow wow and wow
had 3 tanks so still rich and head speed not up to full speed yet but so locked in flys so stright and true
this is a 90 that you dont have to get use to
from the word off you feel in control relaxed locked on even when its rich with a low head speed cant wait to bring it alive
any one building one will prob find this to be one of the best 90s they have flown it is for me
any one thinking of getting one waiting then go for it ok alot of money but once you flown it your be grinning from ear to ear like me

i felt like the cat who got the cream

woooooooooooo hoooooooo

Did you use the two soft or the one hard dampner?

I am still waiting for my Servos, I hope they arrive this week...

Hi Maxx,

I didn't want to hijack your thread so I've been posting build pics in my gallery... Hope to have the heli flying by next weekend... I'm really taking my time with it...

Thanks for sharing your build and pics...

tis ok free for all i say
will be nice to hear how you get on and what your thoughts are
had to make little ajustments as my canopy dont line up to good last strew was pull me canopy rubber out so had to make the rear post mount slots bigger to move the rear post forward a little was well gutted
any one else had this prob? it fitted ok and didnt take to much notice at first but fitting the rear screws noticed it not lined up quite right the screw lined up at the rear of the post so was pushing canopy forward and putting stress on the frount mounts to the point of creaking the back part of the front holes making it weak then pulling canopy off at bottom finish it off

so please let me know and keep a look out for this

Just managed to put three tanks through mine this morning, using the one piece dampers along with raptor 90 paddles, hovered straight up no trim changes needed,

Limited to circuits and firgure of 8's even at a low headspeed it's very fast on the pitch around the centre, feels nice and balanced on the cyclic can't wait to run this ys in

The rear holes were slightly to far back, i made them larger and moved them forwards a couple of mm with a dremel and fitted Quick uk thumb screws.

My only problem is the front rubbers are a loose fit on the mounts, i'm sure they'll pop off once i start throwing it around.

my rear holes was to far back to so mover the rear posts forward by making the auj slots longer could only go a bit as would catch on the elev arm
also fitted quick uk thunb screws
fits perfect now
didnt touch the canopy holes mind you wish i noticed before as the canopy was pushed forward it broke part of the front canopy mount hole so the rubber wouldnt stay in had to epoxey
so guess this is a design fault then ????

SG Canopy
mine fit's perfect... No big deal to put it on the mechanics.

Mounting the old Vibe 90's canopy is quite a Drama IMO.

I am still waiting for the Servos, every morning I am stalking the postman's car, I hope they arrive tomorrow...

The fan shroud brackets from the rear canopy mont are just in the middle of the slotted hole, I think it is normal tolerance of the canopys because they are handmade (but wow, what nice surface!)

Next weekend there are some easter holidays, I've already ordered some more fuel, I can't wait any longer to fly it...

Have you done some more flights yet?

Would you admit it
if the heli flew like a POS would you come out and admit it after spending $1500.00 plus on it?
