+1 for jschenck
I'm a little late reading this thread, but that is the BEST info by far. Mods/upgrades that will keep you in the air (safely) longer, rather than "looking the mutts nutts" are 10x more cost effective, at least in my opinion.

One thing to add, if you don't have one already, a sim would probably be a great purchase. There's tons of info on here regarding simulators, but no matter which one you get/have, it is probably the best money you will/have EVER spent in this hobby.

I know I'm always looking at the cool/neat stuff, but in all reality, I don't need ANY of it. It's hard to not want a Kasama head, they're sexy; and metal tails look killer, but I don't need it. Easy money trap to fall into... Anyway, it's late over here in Okinawa and Johnnie Walker is doing a fair bit of the typing... Best of luck. Keep us posted on what you decide to do and how you like the results. Take care.

^^^^ +1,sim,sim,sim ..I have the Raptor 50 SE V2 wich needs no upgrades other than the mixing arms that she will get soon .On the Titan 50 and 50SE the metal head block is a must, the plastic ones will last a while but gets slop and soon blows apart in the air..A CNC head block and swash plate is all you'll need, the rest is more than a want than a need IMO.If you want more pitch buy the new mixing arms and your all set.If you want bling buy everything you can for it LOL.

3+ year with at least three different Mavrikk metal main hubs with several crashes - all worked/working fine for me. The finish is not as nice as other brands but functionally the Mav parts work for me.

I agree, I've had excellent luck with the Mavrikk stuff over the years. The lack of instructions or a decent exploded diagram is frustrating (unless they have changed that recently) and as he said the finish isn't QUK or Kasama quality but to replace something so it lasts longer? I'd have no problem using or recommending the Mav stuff. Its a direct copy of the stock geometry so if you're looking to upgrade performance you need GForce or Kasama though.
