just was browsing thru parts and found this 34.99 all metal tail case i scooped one up
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...Metal-Tail-Case

heres instructions since none included
Ok heres some tips and pictures for putting this thing together first things first attach the L arm that will support the tail pitch slider arm

next assemble everything from the left there are 2 very small standoffs for the tail fin to attach too also the large spacer goes on the inside (or tail fin side) of the tail shaft gear then 1 of the small spacers goes on the other side as for the tail pulley there's 2 washers but i didn't use either of them as they made it not work properly i found it easiest to do this while attached to the heli then take it off to run the belt don't forget to attach the belt! here is some pictures for guidance sorry there blury iphone hates closups

Look, these guys have worn out their welcome in the Audacity forum as well. In fact, before the thread was closed (not by me), I finally lost my cool and responded (it's one of the last responses on page 2).

http://runryder.com/t499494p2/

Sad to say, morals are a moving target . . . for some. Using Ryder's forums and our 1st Amendment right in order to proselitize in favor of a stolen design appears to be OK these days. However, let's call a spade a spade and put it into plain words. My view is simple; theft is theft and the guy who buys a stolen car is just as guilty as the guy who stole it. Mouthing platitudes about it's OK that TS stole the design in large part from JR is just that, flapping lips desperately trying to justify their own weak moral character.

JR is a worthy competitor, their Vibe is a great product, and while I work my hardest trying to beat them the old fashioned way, e.g. by putting my product in front of consumers so they can make their own decision, we compete cleanly. No two ways about it though, what TS is doing is wrong, in my view. Moreover, it speaks volumes about those who continue to own the product after learning the score.

These guys feel like the slimy type, e.g. the ones you meet at a fun fly and decide it's prudent to keep an eye on your tools - understand?

My take on it
There are almost NO original designs in helis today. They were all "copied" or "stolen" at one time or another. Until someone comes out with a truly innovative design that does not borrow from someone else, NOBODY can say their entire heli design is original.
I bet you can't name one company that every part of their heli is an original design...........Ron

Actually the Main blocks, spacers, boom clamp, starter shaft block, engine mount ect on the TZ-V2 are wider wich makes nothing compatible. I disassembled both of mine (vibe & frenzy)and couldnt find one part that was compatible. There is not one part on the Tz-V2 that is Identical or even compatible to the Vibe.

Clones?
You guy's are really funny. I didn't know that heli people could get so worked up over who makes what. Aren't all of the brands clones? Isn't imitation a form of flatery, JR sould be proud that JS copied their product.

I am truly a rookie of this hobby, so to keep me from putting my foot in my mouth at the flying field could everyone please attached the price tag to the skid of their bird so I'll know the clones from the real deal. I watched a guy crash a cheap $250 helo and a guy crash $2000 T-Rex 700 and they both looked the same after they crashed, couldn't see much quality in either.

All this discussion lately has made me take a really close look at this heli. I've come to the conclusion that if it had a different canopy, nobody would be bitching about it being a clone or not. Take a look at the mechanics, it's no closer to a Vibe than any number of other helis. The head uses the same design as any number of other helis, it's not unique to the Vibe (although the way the flybar cage is molded is obviously the same), the tail is nothing like it, it's essentailly the same as a Raptor, the drivetrain is a mishmash of Raptor and the same belt tail drive setup that countless other helis use, and the front radio tray is like a 600N. The frame shapes are similar, although with differences.

Basically, as I see it, yes, it's similar (and intentionally so), but if they were aiming for the Vibe they missed the target by a wide margin aside from the canopy. There are plenty of other helis that are cloned a lot more than this one, and the thing that seems to be setting people off on it is the canopy.

Just my 2 cents. Fly what you like, I'm sure I'll try a Frenzy at some point, it looks like they put together a nice package, although not as nice as some others. The thing that really sells it is the low price, not the airframe.

Don't thank me, I'm not agreeing with YOU, I'm just stating my observations. You're not handling yourself very well in these discussions, so don't take it as me being on your side, and being an rrProfessor only means I waste a lot of time on the computer.

FYI, I am friends with John Beech, and I've spoken with him on the phone about this. He is absolutely correct about stealing, I just don't see this particular airframe as being stolen beyond the canopy. I really wonder if this discussion would be taking place if it came with a different canopy.
