We were doing some testing at bayland park about the 3G FLB. So far so good on the FLB unit. The only problems we encounter was the autorotation and some minor rotor head bobbing. On the auto's for some reason it tips at the end when you loose headspeed. Anyways, there is a full report on RR at the Trex electric threads.Check it out if you guys are interested flying the 3G FLB on your trex600. Sorry mik,we got carried away and lost time!!

The head bobbling and tipping are natural phenomenon on the Trex. Those behaviors also reflected on both of my 600N flybarred.

Yeah!, the head bobbled alittle bit in the beginning, but when we adjust the gain on both elevator and aileron to 45%. it seems to be fine afterwards. So far it seems to be pretty good. Just need to fine tuned it bit more and should be solid. I guess it's a decent price for the 3G system, you can't really complain. I personally like the rotor head design.Looks solid.

Hey George,

If you remember to bring the c-clip next time, that will great. I was able to get an almost identical one from the hardware store. However, the original part is still better. If you do not have one, I will just use what I got from the hardware store.

Thanks dude.

Clip for the conecting rod pin to hold it in on the YS91SR.

I don't crash... I land with style

Hey rocco,

Glad to hear it's good after the adjustment . How's the cyclic input while flying piro like Chaos, or piro rainbow compare to flybar head?

regards, hdk

What? 3 crashes after I left? What happened to the Shark? Was it badly damaged?

Thanks for looking George.

Fil - The clip holds the piston rod connector pin from slipping out. We were replacing the piston for my YS91SR and the clip sprung out and fell on the ground. Since the ground was wet from the rain, it was next to impossible to find it. I went to OSH and found a good replacement. Hopefully it will hold and not come loose and screw up my new Trex 700.

What happened to the Logo 500? I hope the damage was not that much.

Ted - I don't even want to know.

ATTENTION: MI FLYERS
its been a while the last time we satdown and talked about safety
(trex450 on fire)
this coming saturday we need to talk about our safety rules in field (if we do have one)
we need this so we dont want to see anybody get hurt, we kinda
getting relax flying our heli. i give one example flying closer and closer to us, its
dangerous and i see that all time. and that is accident ready to happen in a short notice.
year 2006 while teaching a kid to fly, and the kid lost control the heli, and the blade hit the instructor on the throat and he died instantly. (were not gonna learn until someone get hurt.)
