should I hurry up and get a night setup together for my 600N, or just worry about flying the 700?

ok, will try to get a night setup together. we have xero gear at HH so I will get that and the align night blades. just got my quick uk swash for my 600 today, finally get to get 12-13 degrees rather than 11, I was getting tired of that.

you can't get more than 11 with the stock swash?

make sure you have night gear for both birds! more fun that way

my 700 is only flying during the day. my 500 will fly anytime w/o night gear. my 600NSP will fly at night with night gear.

the NSP comes with the new style swash, it is a very good precise swash with no slop, the problem is that it is very thing about 12mm thick. the quick uk swash is only about 9mm thick and therefore allows you to get much more travel.

just measured them both, the align swash is 18mm, the quick UK is 14mm.

2mm added on top and bottom of the throw is probably an extra degree or two. then you can trim the washout pins and get another mm top and bottom.

I am aiming for 13deg +-

I thought the NSP-SP V4 addressed that issue?

yeah funny guys.

actually the trex 600NSP's are now shipping with the 700 swash with a 10mm ball instead of 12. it is a great precise swash, but is even thicker than the one currently on my 600N. the quick UK swash is the only upgrade I am going to put on my 600. and my 700 is bone stock.
