Hi,

I have the dx7 with mix, and now I feel that I have less responsive heli, specialy in the elevator.

In my old FF9, I had all ATV at 100%, and now I have the same in the dx7 ¿what do you have in the ATV with DX7?.

Thanks.

Just flew with the mix, and it feels like a different heli... WOW!

IRAE, have you tried adjusting your swash mix values to compensate?

I'm having the exact same issue with the elevator feeling very mushy with the mix.

I said hell with it and bought a used X9303 and will be using the native 140 mode. (I needed more channels as well not just for the 140 mode)

I'm sorry I don't have an answer we tried all kinds of settings to make the mix more viable but it just doesn't work that well.

I use the mix with -24 -24, and I do not have interactions.

But the elevator is less responsive than with the native 140º from FF9.

If I do not have other solution I am thinking about return to the FF9.

Irae:

On my DX7 my swash mix gives me +12/-12 Pitch; +6.5/-6.5 Aileron; +6.5/-6.5 Elevator.

AILE + 60
ELEV +87
PIT +60

If you had to run 100% on your FF9 and DX7 I think something might be wrong with your physical linkages. Are the balls on your servo arms 27mm apart or 13.5 from the center?

I just went back to 120 degree and the heli livened up! It worked with the mixes but not as well as inherent programming. Maybe I will go back if I get a new transmitter with 140 degree programming already in........Ron

Hi guys

My advice: 140 on a DX7....DON'T DO IT!!!

I built my Vibe 50 with 140 ccpm and used my 9303 radio and it was great. Later i sold my 9303 and tried to setup the mix for my DX7.

I could get it to work perfectly at centre stick.....or at full positive or at full negative. It needed a slightly different mix value at the different stick positions. The slight interaction it created was far worse than the same setup converted back to 120!!!!!

Regards
Paul

Sorry if it is an old post.

What do you mean by :
- Set Elevator as the Master and Pitch as the slave.
In which menu can I do this?

Thank you in advance.

Vibe Ration
On the Function Menu of the DX7 select one of the three Program Mixes. They are labeled PROG.MIX1, PROG.MIX2 and PROG.MIX3.

- Press the Increase/Decrease button until the value by the arrow shows ELEV. (That sets the Master)
- Press the Select button to move the arrow to the right to select the slave.
- Press the Increase/Decrease button until it displays PIT
- Press the select button to move the arrow to the rate.
- Move the small arrow between the rates by moving the elevator stick.
- Set the rates for both up and down elevator.

That's it.

Here's how mine ended up on my DX7:
============================
ELEV -> PIT
Rate -35
-35

SW: ON
OFFSET: 0
===========================

Hope this helps.

Glad to help.

Remember to increase the Swash mix for elevator until you get the pitch you want.

Here's what I have mine set at:

AILE + 60
ELEV +87
PIT +60

Hi

As long as you have no mixing onto the rudder or gain channel there will be no issue for the 601.

That is 'anything' to 'rudder' OR 'anything' to 'ch5 or 6 or 7'.... depends which you use for gain.

Paul

Gain is on gear. The Mix involves Pitch and Elevator. I don't see a issue just figured I'd toss it out there for input.
