The grunt work
I just wanted to mention and thank the other people who are a big part of the original idea and reason for getting this event started and pulled off... and who are knee deep in the grunt work of making this happen right about now.

The Sponsors are on board, the word is out, the pilots are stoked... and so now is the point where it all needs to come together and be ready for you.

Eric (greenday) has been truly hustling to make it come off on-site... and it really IS allot of work to get done. "Thank You" Eric for buying, storing, and getting all of the food and stuff ready for the event. For offering and then getting your camper ready for guys to stay in it! For recruiting your Mom and your friends to help in the cooking, and the other not so glamorous tasks of the event. For renting and picking up the PA system, making the projector screen, fixing the driveway, running electric, mowing, putting everything together and then setting everything up... and the list goes on!

"Thanks" David L. for fronting the money for all of this to get done!

"Thanks" Dave W. and Brian M. for helping in the planning and then setup of the event and the layout!

Oh Yahhh...last but not least... thanks again Eric for getting married and providing us the opportunity to have a bachelor party

Looks like we are not going to be there until Sat early afternoon.... Duty calls at the job site. We have the same trouble as Bill J. paying bills and eating....
The way things are going I have to get the money while it's there.

Our first out of state ride for 2009!!! I am SO EXCITED!!!

if you see the pilot running....try to keep up!

Any flying tomorrow anywhere? Maybe I should hit Lums pond on the way or what?

Tony - will be looking for you guys Sat afternoon then. Call me if you are running late... so I am not worrying.

Raja - Eric said he was running around until 2 getting more stuff... but was planning on being back by then. I am thinking I will be able to roll in around 3:30 or so to help him setup. I'll call you on your cell if I am running late.. It would be great to fly with you tomorrow... and we can take a look at one of my helis if you don't mind... could use your help on that one

Thinking about taking the day off tomorrow. Do some packing tonight and tomorrow morning. Maybe show up around 1 pm or so tomorrow. Do a cheap hotel for fri and sat night. I was just going to do Sat only but I need a good getaway weekend.
