I'm also new to the Gaui Hurricane 200 family. I have a V2 flybarless that I got in a deal with another RR member. I'm still putting in the electronics and hope to make my first test flights tomorrow.

It has the stock motor and ESC and it came with HS65 servos on the cyclic (I would never have thought they would fit!).

I have the Gaui three-axis gyro unit and an Align 420 tail servo. I know people like to bash this servo, but I also have this servo on both of my T-Rex 250's and it's worked just fine to date. For LiPo packs I have selection of 3S1P packs from Thunder Power and Outrage. These packs readily fit into the T-Rex 250 machines and I see no reason why they won't work well in the Gaui 200.

Today's plan is to complete the installation and setup of the tail servo, complete installation of the gyro and receiver, and properly route and secure all wiring. I'll complete the preliminary DX7 programing and initial gyro switch settings. And if all goes well, the first flight will be tomorrow.

I just wanted to show my Gaui Hurricane 200.
It is the V1 with some upgrades like cf landing gear, Align 40mm tail blades, 200mm MAH cf blades, cf tail pushrod, V2 tail and trueblood dampers!

electroncis equipment:

- Z-Power Tonic-X 5150KV
- stock esc
- Spartan DS-760 and Futaba S3154 tail servo
- Spektrum AR6100
- 3x HS-45

It flies real well! The V2 tail improved the tail performance a lot. Though had a hard time to get it dialed in. I recently added some Hivis Decals for better visibility. Besides that it just looks cool.

ecoheli,

I have the same tail as you. I'm using the 2nd hole from the center of the servo arm (with a carbon tail pushrod, custom made).
