Cheapest Electric 450
Well I set out on a quest to build the perfect 450 electric for beginners !
So you have been thinking about the RC Helicopter hobby but the prices have been holding you back, Look no further.

In the two articles you will learn that an RC helicopter of the 450 size is available for $136.95 all you need is to add a RX and Battery and you will be flying !

Here are the links to the articles

http://helirc.org/article/cheap450part1.pdf
http://helirc.org/article/cheap450part2.pdf

Please read both articles as some of the parts from the initial order in part 1 have been replaced with other parts more suited for this set up.

Thanks and I hope this will help some of you get into this enjoyable Hobby !

My concern would be no parts available locally, or that you have to order from Hong Kong everytime you bend a flybar.Life is tough, it's tougher if you're stupid

It's a T-Rex 450SA knockoff, all parts are interchangeable.

Thats correct, all of the align 450 parts will fit right on it, and for the cost of the kit buy a couple for spares !!

That is a really great article and wish I would have had that kind of info when I first started out. I also would have to aggree, I have an MX450 and most of the Trex 450 parts work just fine. You could almost say with my upgrades I hav a Trex 450 Again thanks for a great post and maybe this will help others get into the hobby.

Kudos Craig ....
I have to say Thanks for taking the time to put together the info into a pdf. As many do, I frequent other forums as well so, the next time I see that Question "What Heli for under $200" or "What Next" I'd like to direct them to those articles.....

In fact I need to add them on my "Links with Experience" web page if you don't mind....

Complete 450 kit for 35.95$
I recently buy a complete heli kit with blade for 35.95$.
Am i building it right now. So far, the only thing i find disapointing is that there is no manual,

I'm running an 11 tooth pinion I had left over from my Trex 450 kit. Has plenty of power, however i dont have a tach so I cant tell you what the head speed is, I would guess around 3000 ..Craig (Alias Racer38)
