I am trying to get the awn manager installed on 108 unbutu. I was hoping to use it for the mac4lin setup.

Anyone have any suggestion to get it installed.

Thanks,
Cameron

you should open Synaptic Package Manager (System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager)

Search for "avant" (without quotes). Wait a few seconds to find the packages. Click the box in front of the "avant-window-navigator" package and select the "Mark for Installation" option

You will be asked if you want to add the additional required packages. Click on the "Mark" button to add them

Then you can install everything.

if for what ever reason the program was not completed install you can type the following to fix the problems

sudo apt-get install

sudo apt-get update

Note: Make sure that all the dependencies are install. Anything that it is required to run the AWN should be selected. If you can not find the package when you do you search. just type apt-get update to update the file for the system

if You need step by step instructions let me know
