I almost have my foamie completed. First of all, the first photo below illustrates the motor and spinner I am using. I'm also using the recommended GWS EP 1047 prop. The problem I'm having is that the threaded shaft part of the spinner assembly is too wide for the hole in the prop. Should I just widen the prop hole with a drill bit? The other problem is that the threaded shaft isn't long enough to go all the way through the prop hole to reach the spinner. I'm assuming that I install things as indicated in my second photo below. Am I missing something?

I dont know only built 1 electric heli but looks to me you got the wrong stuff. Although drilling out the prop is no big deal that spinner looks to short for that prop. So what to do prop to fit the spinner or a spinner to fit the prop.

Kinda glass half empty or half full analogy huh?

No Really I am the club President!!!

Try an APC 10x4.7 slow flyer prop. They come with adapters that should work. Chuck

What's irritating is that when I placed the order, Grayson recommended that prop, yet they don't tell you that the spinner that comes with the motor is too short . Anyway, I'll just stop by my LHS tomorrow and buy a longer spinner.
