Took another short clip of my Trex 250 this morning. Flew 4 packs through it. Video is of the first pack. Not enough 250 threads in here.

Not bad after a two year break! Still working on getting my chaos back as well as a few other tricks so no super nutty stuff in the front yard yet. Just piro flips, tic tocs and funnels for now. Keep forgetting to fly in close for the camera too.

Sorry it's kinda hard to see, still using the point and shoot camera. Hit "full size" and then maximize the window that pops up if you want to see anything.

Pitch was +-10*. Think I forgot to add that in the video. Guess I'll put my carbons on now.

Post your 250 vids!

very nice video. Glad to see your back in the hobby.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I used to use HS55 blue case servos with 401 on my old Hornet II's glued to the tail and it would work. The tail would hold better than the carbon torque tube would. That is why I am glad to see a belt on this heli.

I asked DocJoe what he thought about tail servos since I've been out of the loop for a while. He said the bigger 450 tail servos might just be a hair overkill. He recommended the little ds290 so I gave it a shot thinking as long as the belt dosn't slip, I should be able to get some sort of hold from it. I've always known JR to make a good servo so slapped it in there and haven't looked back. Added a way bigger than necessary CF pushrod along with it.

The tail holds fine for such a small heli. Tail gets slightly "light" in faster backward maneuvers but nothing a few well placed pilot inputs can't handle. Looks like she will handle everything I can currently throw at her and more.

I'm interested to try that spartan and drop a few grams. Have to do the new charger with case and power supply first though

Nice flight. Your grass looks good too.

Did you sell off all of your other helicopters?

I crashed most of them and sold what parts I had left a while ago.
Sold a few more remaining parts to buy my 250.
This is currently the only heli I can fit in my budget.
Great bang for the buck!

I got a few of my fishing buddies interested while hovering a pack over Lake Perris yesterday.
