These would be nice. $259 I wonder if they come with spell check.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I think they are very cool. But I have never done any night flying before and I don't think that it be a good to spend that kind of money

IF you are not into the harder 3D with a lot of tic-toc type moves then the MS Composite 600 mm night blades will work. If you do fly harder then they are junk IMO, they are just too flexible.

What a lot of us have done up here in the NW is we have them made out of whatever blade you want to use. Using copper tape and LED's and small Li-Po batteries you can make your own. I just have someone make them for me and pay the small price.

Jeff

I use the MS Composite tail blades and they work really good.

So What do you think about the align night blades for 3d?
I can't actually say that on a public forum.

What I have seen with them is several sets have been so far out of balance that they were going out of track. I haven't used them personally but several people I know have had issues with them.

Century makes night blades, they are really expensive and I've had two sets that didn't work. It took me two months to get my money back!

MAH does not make them to my knowledge.

Do the night blades for the trex 500 work any better? If so I Have a 500 that I could outfit instead of the 600.

I can tell you from experience, the MS blades fly fine; flipping, loops
rolls, inverted, etc. This is in the 550 size though. Have not put 600
N/B on my other machine yet. Also have not tried the MS night tails
simply because they are too long for the 550's, AFAIK.

As Cdrking said though, they may not be great for the harder stuff,
and I cannot say on that. But, going by your other post, you are sport
flying, which the MS will do well.

I have to say that I am doing sport flying unless doing tail slides then popping just before I get to the ground is 3d. but I don't think I will be doing much of that being new to night flying. However as my skills improve I would still like to have that pop that I get out of my radix blades give me at 14 deg. pitch

Don't know if a tailslide is considered "3D", but would certainly be
very cool to watch one in pitch dark, from about 200+ feet up.....

Again, I would not tell you how the MS would fare though. Just doesn't
seem to be much choice on N/Blds.

My experiences.
The MS blades work OK. I've flown the newest version with LIpos and they seem to fly about the same as the older versions did. The green LEDs show up quite well. They stood up to tail slides, flips, loops and rolls just fine. I don't do much in the way of tick tocks so I can't comment there.

The Align night blades are great for visibility but I had to put metal grips on my 600n to get them to stay in track, not sure why but every time I got the headspeed up to 1750 or over the blades would drift out of track until I put on the metal grips. The blades flew very similar to their day blade counterparts. These blades give a faster cyclic than the MS blades but they do get a bit pitchy in fast forward flight or in the wind. I had a set that wouldn't hold their charge so I borrowed a new in box charger to try from a friend and the blades still didn't charge, couldn't get his new blades to charge either, not sure what was up there.

I've had a set of 690 SABs that I liked a lot, (5 years ago). Not very visible but they flew very well. If I could find 600s I would probably have to own them.

I've seen the Rotortech blades in action, the look great in the air but as CDRKING said, they are quite expensive. Can't comment on their flight characteristics, everyone crashes them before I can beg a flight on them.

For this year, I'll be using some MS 600s on my 600N, for the price they are good enough for my flying and I can see them pretty well.

I've seen people fly at night without night blades, just the glow wire on the canopy and boom. Looked realy cool without the disk.

Good luck and have fun with which ever blade you choose, this night flying stuff is a gas.

The pic below shows my 600 with the Align blades.
