The Maryland Helicopter Association Fun Fly is June 5-7 this year.

The event is a full three day event. Show up Thursday night and be ready to fly Friday morning. We have some of the best Fun Fly food, with food being served all three days.

The park is a WW2 airfield with plenty of open tent space and camping on site. There is a dedicated novice/hover area.

Free T-shirts to the first 125 registered pilots!

Due to the overwhelming success of last years Novice event, we will do that again this year. And if we can avoid copy right infringements, we may borrow one of the events from the Gathering!

In the spirit of the MHA club motto "We hate to see you crash, but we hate to miss your crash" we will give one free burger or sausage sub to anyone who crashes. (limit of 10 burgers per registered pilot)

We will have night flying Saturday night (and Sunday morning...) at the club field. And due to popular demand, we will have the 450 challenge again. May the best heli win and nobody crash...

The flight line will only be closed to land full scale aircraft. Contests, events, and demos will not shut the flight line down.

We will have block reservations listed on the web site that will be held until May 6. Unless you like camping under the stars, make your reservations early.

Further details and directions will he be posted on the club web page http://www.flymha.com

Maryland Helicopter Association - Fun Fly Flyer

See you there. Feel free to contact me for more details or any questions.

If I lay out all the events this year and say pick only one, my wife will pick MHA.

Does anyone care to guess as to why?

Well I'm out of ideas, as I have not been there yet so I have no idea what would keep her at the field all day long. If I could guess I would say the company and food were great

Time to start planning the summer schedule. Great flying and sweat off a few pounds Plus we added A/C to the event trailer after last years event. Now if only the RV didn't burn up. Maybe have a replacement in the spring.

Another day closer to spring

Only 10 burgers
That cut back my flying

I'm sure Wayne will make an exception to 10 max if you crash the same heli more than 10 times during the event.

Yea, I'm not sure the 450's count for free burgers! At that rate we'll be feeding the entire pilot population, and 1up might go hungry!

Red Z06: I thought she didn't want to leave the field cause of the good food and all the great people!
