I would like to add a govenor to my Rappy 90, and wondering which one to install. I have the atg on my evo 50 , but I see a few throttle jockeys used..guess I'm looking for anyone thats used either.

It's really about preference.

The ATG has alot more options and feature. But requires the G-View to adjust some of the features. And costs more.

The TJPro is basic and simple. Less expensive

Both work great, and use the same sensors.

Hell... I can fix that.
Uh oh..
Nope.

ATGv3 works great!

With the ATG it gives me the ability of going in and selecting or adjusting certain programing options of the system. I also like the soft ramp up when the governor engages or I swith rpm's. In the end, they both work well, I just prefer how the ATG works over the rest.

the setup is similar, using the aux 2 endpionts on my radio to set the desired RPM, it'll be used on my DX-7,?

Both works great for me, with the TJ pro having a slightly more consistent headspeed and the ATG having the tendency to overspeed.

The only thing I dislike about the TJ pro is the lack of headspeed indicator(led, lcd or likes) to at least get you a rough gauge of your set head speed for initial set up.

so the tj doesn't give an indicator to let me know the settings, like the atg gives the red/grn?

I have two Revmax's and one multigov and i like the multigov alot better. Go to aerospire.com and look at there gov before you decide. O and the support from Bob can't be beat. He even called me on my cell phone on a Sunday just to see how it was working.

No the tj has not red/green flashing like the ATG, but the flashing on my ATG wasn't exactly accurate, so it will need a tach too. However, the ATG at least give you a decent place to start setting the headspeed.
