I'm getting ready to build my Vibe 50 and read about this hum. My buddy has a vibe 50 and he says the hum is real and loud. Is the consensus the TT or T/R blades? Is the hum a harmonic that is liveable or do you guys think it will wear the heli out due to high-freq vib?
Thanks

Use good tail blades and balance the hub/grib/blade assembly very well and no Hum for me (only 1 bearing on the torque tube).

+1 Get some good tail blades, the stockers are junk. Then balance the entire tail/hub assembly with blades along with dial indicating your fan/clutch down ro less then .002" runout and you should be fine.

Thanks guys. My buddy says the stock blades are only good for stirring epoxy.

What brand and size worked for you?
