I don't yell out to kids to keep off the grass, but I'm getting tired of cats roaming around my front yard and garden. These cats think its ok since my dog is in the backyard. I've done some landscaping and I don't care for cats walking all over my flower beds and occassionally crapping on the dirt and neither do I care for their howling late at night when they are ready to fight each other or when their in heat. Short of shooting at these things I need a solution to make them want to go to some other yard and not mine.

I once heard about 3d flying,
"Doesn't anyone fly rightside up anymore?"

Motion detector spriklers. Not sure who makes them, I'm sure they work cause cats hate water. I prefer your idea, it's a sure fire way of making sure the cat doesn't return.

Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?

I was told to three quarters fill some 2 litre clear plastic drinks bottles with water and leave them , on their sides , in the garden . Supposedly cats don't like it .
It sounds ridiculous , but it did seem to discourage them .

I've also been told that if you can get hold of , not literally , some big cat sh1t , ie lion or tiger , and leave that somewhere in your garden , the cats find it somewhat off-putting . Funny that . Do you have a zoo nearby ?

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

My 15 lb cat shiits like he's a 50 lb feral lynx, and it's likely the most foul smell you'll ever spank your nostrils with. Lemme know if you want some, 3D.

Don't thank me -- thank Duncan Fred The Punkinhead. Then run away fast cuz he's just about ready to offload another diabolical 'discharge'.

i prefer the first idea..... lead poisoning at 900 Ft per second ;-)

think: suppressed ruger 10/22 with subsonic hollowpoints.maybe put a laser on it for those late night dirt naps....

hypothetically speaking, of course... ;-)

I have heard and seen this one. Get yourself some moth balls, works like a charm. Just set them in the area you don't want the cats and that will do it for you. A friend of mine did this and it worked. He took a couple and put them in some scrap panty hose pieces and some others he put in a small plastic bag with small holes. He set them on his front porch and no more cats. Hope this helps.

Bleach, just pore some bleach along the edge of your property. It works great. I haven't had a cat in my yard in over 5 years.

Get yourself some rubber snakes an put that near the flower beds. It
works around here to keep the cats from jumping on your car or truck.

They won't come near the vehicles.

But tell your wife there fake first. Wouldn't want to give her a heart
attack. hehehehe
