After getting my frame together I noticed that the tank wobbles a bit in the frame. Is this normal or should I brace it somehow?

Its normal,if you can pull it out easy then somthing is wrong but as long as the 2 bubbles on each side of the tank are all the way in the slots in the frame then your good to go .

When you install the two screws that hold the back landing gear strut on it should firm up a good bit

Just be sure not to slice those little bubbles when installing the tank. I ruined 2 tanks that way

I put a little bit of clear silicon RTV in the frame just before installing the tank to keep the tank from buzzing around in the frame and potentially cutting into the tank.

Only 2? Always loosen the frames before removing or installing a new tank......dont temp it.....fate can be a real bitch.

another +1 for the RTV trick. I had a couple of tanks wear a hole in the nubs on the tank before I started doing this. Just a small dab in each of the pockets in the frame and your good to go!

Hand-chamfering the sharp edges on the indentations on each frame halve with a ½" drill bit before applying the RTV also helps minimize dimple wear.

I just knock the edges off with some sandpaper before I install the tank the first time.
