OK now I'm confused. Looking at the build tips and my original manual.

I'm using Hitec 5065MG's.

The manual shows the two back cyclic servos mounted in the top pockets. Been a while since I built it. Cold weather stopped the flying. I don't remember how I figured it out

Anyway... I guess it was common sense since my servos were too deep to fit in both upper slots, I had to stagger them.

Now I look at the build tips and it assumes both servos are in the same upper pockets.

Page 40 of the manual says 1.5 x 40 mm Push Rod X2
and 1.5 x 23mm Push Rod X2

FOUR LINKS? and six rod ends?

Help me out. Looks like I need 3 different length rods and for 14 deg what do they need to be?

OK I think I got it with the full 14 deg. with HiTec 5065MG's

On the servo to swash I got 27.5mm X2 and one at 13mm. Like the build tip except two long and one short.

On the swash to seesaw I got 46mm X2

On the seesaw to grips I got 2mm X2

All measurements between the rod ends innermost.

Have you seen the build Videos at CYs site. I also think they made some changes the manual.

The best way to describe what you are adjusting for length on the servo rods is reduce them by 2mm when compared to the manual. All of the other rod lengths should be pretty close.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

No I haven't seen the videos. I'm not so confused though now. I didn't read the manual properly and it does address the aux servo mounting location. The Hitec's use this aux location. Also the reason they call out 2X long links and 2X short links is that's what's in the package.

Lookin good.

Thanks Steven and Brian!

I was. I flew it a bunch of times before, after building to the manual before they realized we were getting shorted some pitch with the links too long. Now the thing jumps off the ground like a rocket.
