I couldn't imagine that they do but you never know if they share any common parts. It would be nice if there were some things. Let me know Thanks

I've built both, and I'm thinking absolutely none!

The 500 is a much bigger bird.

Just look at the difference between the tiny 2mm spindle on the 450 (I think the V2 is 3mm) which you can bend with your fingers, and the 6mm spindle on the 500. That's the same size as most 50 nitros!

I'm not sure what the size of the main shaft is on the 450, but the 500 uses an 8mm main shaft. 50 size nitros used to have this size before 10mm became the standard.

Anyway, the list goes on. The 500 is a much bigger bird!

I personally wouldn't want the 500 to share anything with the 450, it is such a small helicopter.

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

Yea the ball links are all the same diameter on mines (450, 500, 600) but their lengths vary. Some of the ball link srews might also fit. I guess you could say the bats are the same between the 450-500. In other words, don't get either for parts sharing but rather just cause they're SUPERB flyers.

Correct, the 500 and 600 share links. The ones for the 450 are smaller, although the ball diameter may be the same.

You could share batteries, use a 2200mAH 3s setup on the 450 and use these in series for a 6s setup. Flight times would be shorter but it could be done. I did it for some time before going to dedicated 6s packs for the 500.

I like that Credit card one thats the truth! I think the 500 and 600 have more in common that the 450 and 500... tail pitch bell crank... ball links... some hardware.
