I know about jobs. I lost mine in October and was unemployed for almost 3 months. I am working now on Ft Riley. Hopefully here I am a little more "insulated" from the economy.

See you later!

What info can ya'll give me on the event and flying site? I would lke to try to make it. I might even be able to pull a few on my cronies from Denver along with...

You could set up a camper / tent at the field but there are no hookups (very limited space). There is a very nice campground right outside of the fields gate at a Corps of Engineers Park.

We are right next to the Farnum Creek Campground area.

The hotel information can be found here:

Please ask away if you have any additional questions.

Landing fee is $20 and it includes lunch for the pilot on Saturday. Depending on the number of people, we will bring in catering from a local restaurant or just shut down while we drive to eat and open the flight line after we get back from dinner. Flight line will be open all day sunday, and as soon as I get there on Friday.

Rafael,

I thought the event was May 15-17 (last weekend) for some reason.

I may try to make it to this one if my work project can be completed by then, not holding my breath though

If I don't make it, you guys have a heli of a weekend

getting close
Dave and myself will be coming from Topeka to join the fun. My Dad is talking about coming down too. Mike hope you can make it and your job holds up. Look forward to seeing all you guys this weekend. Dave is going to do some night flying with his 600E. I know this will be a top notch event as Rafael always does a great job organizing.

Kevin says Dave couldnt night fly his way out of a paper sack and to "bring it"... whatever that means. So maybe there will be a little smackdown between a 600E and a blade cp 2

Been talking to Scott and Jackie Glasgow on PM. They are arriving tonight and spending the weekend.

Checked the weather this morning. It promises to be a beautiful weekend. Hope to see you guys here.

Sadly I could not get out of work on Friday. There will be people at the field and it will be open for flying if you arrive early.

Thanks to all of you that came to the event.

Those of you that left saturday because of the "weather" forecast, all I can say is that you missed some great flying weather on sunday too. The 20 - 30 mph winds did not come until sundown.

Once again, thank you for making the fun fly as successful as it was. I hope to see all of you in the upcoming events or next year at Milford.
