Ya know, I needed that!

20 minutes after leaving for work this morning, my wife calls and tells me she has just been in a bad car wreck. I left work immediately to go to her, and do what ever I could do. When I saw the wreck, I slowed down and was just about change lanes, when "Wham!" I was rear ended and spun off the road. I just got home from the hospital with my wife (8.5 hrs. later). Her car is completely totaled, but she is ok. I was shaken up, but not injured. My truck has thousands of dollars in damages, and is not drivable. I was hit by an uninsured 18 year old girl. Thankfully, I have full coverage. Needless to say, I was feeling seriously down in the dumps. But, after watching that guy, I realized that my problems aren't that bad! We'll get a new car, and get my truck repaired. It's just an inconvenience, not a life shattering problem, even though it kind of feels that way right now.

So, thanks xgearllc... I really did need something to make me smile. That video was just the trick!

Every Day
Great post : Lots of Pride and Smiles : Well -done !

I see a bit of it every day, and some day's I witness so much of it it makes me weak for the strength some have to over come diversity and pick them selves up. For their is truely a Trinity.

Some days I also see tragic waste, usually do to vanity, selfishness, or pride, with very sad circumstances.

Everyday theirs also a small spark in the crowd - in their somewhere, alway's - /// that makes me smile, shake my head, roll my eye's, places a giggle in my heart and give's me light feet.

Today was the " their to too dang small - and torn you know wear -- my Brand New - long handel underware caper" { and they were XXL 's !!! } God to love em ! Just craked me up !! My self - I think it was the Salsibury steak that did it -

Nothing like pulling wrenches and swinging hammer's in -18F just to see if it can bring your soul out, and for the sport of it, saying we can do it together if we try.

We hit a actual -18 F last nite, bunked at least 50 closer to 60, and fed over 300 meals today. Tonite maybe -15F. Nothin like the smile of a two year old with a mashed donut w frosting on the face under your feet.

Think of some one else and what you can do for them - every day - every day- and youl'l be better for it ! When you think of your own, think of some one else's - you'll feel instantly better.

I for one was very moved by this, from now on, I will weigh whatever crisis that i think that i have going on against this, I just about guarantee that most all of them will pale in comparison to what this man faces every day. I'm a cold hearted sob, but that hit me hard enough to tear me up.

I personally am going through some rough times (currently going through a divorce and got laid off all in a 2 week period) as are many other people. This guy has a great message. I will tell you that I am a big guy this got me to tear up a bit putting things in perspective of my own life. The only thing I do is keep thinking ahead and looking up. Through these tough times, I have learned to not sweat the small stuff. Many things in life that we argue about are "small" We all need to take a step back, say thanks to the man upstairs, and tell the people in your life that mean the most to you that you love them. It is amazing how something like this can bring people together.

my cousin had a muscle disease, he never walked, he was in a wheel chair most of his life, the last 5 or so years he was flat on his back,, he never complained once, he never got depressed !! people would go to him because he made them feel good,, he died at the age of 25,,

what my cousin knew and the guy in the above clip knows is simple "life is good, it's good to be alive, things could be wose, so be happy"

It makes you think, that everyone in life has a purpose. That even a man with no arms and legs can be an inspiration to others. Just think of how inspirational we all could be with all our limbs... if we just took the time to try. Great video!
