Hey all,

What size heli's do the pros use in all these video's I keep seeing on here? Are they all 600s? I can't tell if they are 5 or 600's? Most of the video's dont give you a reference to something to see how big they actually are.

Forgive me, I do not know the sizes well yet or the differences in the classes. I see 450,500,600 and also 30,60,90... Is a 600 a 90 size? If someone could explain the sizes, that would be great.

A 90 size (or 700 class) uses 700-720mm blades and is the largest of the performance helis. A 50 size (or 600 class) uses 600-620mm blades.

The 30 50 60 90 size numbers come from the engine displacement on nitro helicopters Bigger engines can swing bigger blades!

Pros fly what ever is new from their sponsor, most of what you see are 90 class, or 700s, everyone wants to be top dog in that class.

When you want to move up to something past a 90, you might want to look into these. :-)

Of course, you'd need some pretty hefty servos.
