What is the best place to put a AR7000 in a Century Hawk Pro? I figured I would put the main RX in the usual place wrapped in neoprene and up front. But where can I put the second satellite RX to keep from getting any shadowing? Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

Here's how i have mine on the raven but i believe you can do the same thing on the hawk pro(ignore the nasty wiring job LOL). Antenna fades and frame drops recorded by the spektrum flight log is within recommended specs.

Both you guys don't wrap the RX in foam. Is there a reason for this?
Easier access?

i don't feel it's necessary. the velcro is strong enough to hold an rx which is very light and provide isolation from vibes.

Never have wrapped my rx in foam or anything else for that matter, don't know why, just never have and have never had an issue. What does the foam do?

people use the foam and wrappings for vibration insulation mainly, but also for added protection in a crash.

there's a hundred different ways to do it.

but if you're realy worried about crashing and want protect it try making something like this, all of the electronics are inside including the gyro.
you can use the box your servo came in, preferably if it's transparent
so you can see the lights.

This is where I put mine

Oh, sorry my sat. RX is in the other side of the servo tray. Just velcroed and strapped.
