Well my Question is : Does anyone know the payload or carrying capacity of the blade 400 3D. I relize that it is a small bird but I have strapped my cell phone to the skids and recorded video but I would like to build bigger skids and of course use a better digi cam. and possibly down link. the mini cams are just not enough clarity for my liking so it would be atleast a sony cyber shot or similur camera. again just wonder if anyone knows how much this bird can carry. thanks in advance.

The heli should lift it and its own weight. But I wouldn't stress it with that much weight, this give you something to go on.

sure does, thanks. I was kinda thinking it should but I dont want to test it and be wrong haha. do you happen to know how the extra weight would affect the esc ? do you think it would over heat or anything ? I figure I may get less flight time I am using the 2200 mah battery and get about 6 mins flight in idle up. maybe it wont affect flight time but still curious about esc. thanks

It will shorten your flight time some. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem on a 450 with a camera on it.

I used an old digital camera just in case, but I have seen and read that the aerial video guys use dummy weight similar to what they are gonna use once they are comfortable with their set up and flying, it makes sense, since they have lots of $$ on the video or pic equipment.
