Im just curious. Why would someone do this? For a Scale look? Or is there an increase in performance with the added blade area like in real helicopters (and added drag, but our models are easily made to being over powered).

Just wondering

Its done for the scale look and with a multi blade head you don't have to run the head speed as high for a more scale look and sound to the blades. Setup can be a little trickier....try to find five blade close to the same weight to get them to balance dynamically and statically.Once done its very cool.....heres mine gonna put a 5 blade head on it.
