Haven't done it yet but I will when the stock motor wears out. Rchobbyhelicopter.com has them both now under the 'Coming Soon' link.
I believe these are 'official' Walkera upgrades.

Installed the Walkera version of the metal head last evening, only did a short test flight as it was getting late by then. First impression is it's a lot more responsive than the plastic head, if you've got the extent cranked up on the RX, you'll probably need to readjust it.

It did change the setup quite a bit, at least on the 4G3 I have. Before I can do any real flight with it, I need to start from the beginning and setup the linkages, pitch, etc. as it's all off from where it needed to be for the plastic head.

I've heard bad things about the knock off versions of the metal upgrade, so far there don't seem to be any issues with the Walkera parts other than the fact the pieces are so small I need to use magnifying glasses to see what I'm doing when I work on it

Pros and Cons updates on the BL Walkera parts that applies to both the 4#3b and the 4g3.

* The Walkera BL helicopters' 4in1 Rx now include ppm signals and a converter is no longer required when used in conjunction with a BL motor. With less solder and fewer wires there are less things to break.

* However, Walkera still uses a separate ESC which we thought could have been included in their new BL 4in1 Rx.

* The BL 4in1 for the 4#3B is the 2406A Rx and the BL 4in1 for the 4G3 is the 2605A Rx. Without either Rx you will need a converter to get the ppm signals.

* The Walkera BL motors are good inrunner motors and can be upgraded easily to more powerful and far lighter 3rd party outrunner motors. The TurboAce 411500 Outrunner BL Motor is already out for the 4#3B and similar upgrades will soon be availbe for 4G3.

Wowhobbies Weekly Special: * 4#3B BL RTF Helicopter $159.98
* 4G3 Metal Helicopter + 2801 Tx Combo $279

This is a wowhobbies update.
