I have read that when setting up pitch the throttle stick should be mid position at 0 pitch.
Reading the manual it says set at 75-80% at 0 pitch.
What is correct?

0 at 50% throttle (mid stick) other pitch settings vary on your flying style.

hi there
pitch should be almost a streight line at norm....0.25.50.75.100....then in idleup 12+top stick..mid stick 0..12-bottom stick...throttle curve at norm 0.30.38.57.79.98....in idle up its 100.80.70.80.100.....

hope this helps regards helinelly

For a Trex450 I found this to be way low....

I use 100,95,90,95,100 and it's much more consistent at mid.

Simple setup below for you....

Pitch curves- Linear for all modes 0-100* If you set for 0 at mid stick, you should be around +-12 or so, this is fine.

Throttle curves- Normal mode, 0-100%, linear. Idle 1 and 2, use a simple straight line, 100% all the way across.

*For normal mode, set your gauge at around -3 or -4 and change that bottom point to match that particular pitch setting. In other words, you don't want -12 for normal mode.

Ok I'll add:

For my Trex 500 I found this to be way to low as well!

Use either straight flat 100% across or 100,95,90,95,100.

The 500's like a high headspeed.
