Did you prepare the heli in any way for the "heat"?

This is the type of result you should be aiming for. Checking for cracks on the internal flange in the tulip etc.

Hi chopper jockey
If I may ask, was your photo taken from an RC helicopter or full size?

Thanks
Mark

Not full size. We custom built an RC mount and shot stills, not video.

Thanks everyone.
Here there are some SD video grabs of an old stack job, of course clarity and quality is not the best since these were one of the few images allowed by client to be freely shown by us. There are some legal and internal reasons which make them sign us a non-disclosure agreement, I agree 100% with that.
Ive got some more interesting images but unfortunatelly i am not in town now, posting them later, now having few days under the heat of the sun this time

Another post from about a year ago with more picts.

Rosauro,
Nothing special, just keeping overflights really short and checking heat buildup during every refuel, temp is kept a little bit above ambient during flights.

puneetp,
thanks for the compliment. The chimney was not shut down, it was still in operation but temporarily extinguished with co2.
