Ace? Associated?

There are really only 3 good servo choices IMO.

Futaba
Hitec

Search RR - the 1015 has had failure issues. I would personally go with JR8717's in that price bracket...

Remember cheaper is not always better or the same. On helis you do not want to skimp on servos. You get what you for. the Ace servo might be fine. But im with Joe. Go with what been proven to work.

Price bracket? The Ace servo is over $40 less than the 8717. THey are more in the futaba 9452 price range about $80. IMHO, (and yes I know of 1 person on RR having a failure with a 1015) The 1015 is a highly underrated servo. I have run mine unregulated and regulated for quite some time now. They have never let me down despite being in some total rekit crashes.

I dont know. I have not seen the Associated servo, got a link?

I think a while back Thunder Tiger Bought Associated, so the servos could be the same as Ace.

Sorry, didn't know they were that cheap.

Just a bit of a warning though I am sure they are great for many.

I'm using an ACE DS0606 digital servo on my gyro - works good so far.....
Besides ACE = TT & TT = Raptor therefore by that twisted logic it can only be good for my Rappy
