Coast Guard MH-68---Swift Mechanics Completed
I wanted to get this one done before I posted any pics. I went a little overboard with the details, considering how much I wanted to do but overall I think it looks pretty good. All of the scale fittings were hand made from bits of balsa and other assorted parts I had laying around. Not quite scale bur I'm getting closer with every build. Unfortunately a 4 blade head is out of my price range at the moment but someday.

Very nice - like any scale model - details make it come alive.

Is that this prepainted fuselage with retracts?

Yes, it is the prepainted fuselage with retracts, however I ripped out all of the woodwork as it seemed flimsy and used my plywood box as the mount for the mechanics. This also necessitated the need to develop a new mount for the front retract servo. All in all not too bad.

The mechanics are the stock swift 16.

Greetings,

Keep at those detail parts. They can add so much to a model. I really like those scale Wheel Chocks.
