Yes, you read it right. 6% gain on my DX7 Gyro sense mode and it still wags in Fast Forward Flight. No binding, no delay. Ds on. No expo or trims etc. 100% flat TC. 15T pinion running Revolectrix 4200mah 18.5v.

S9257 & GY401. Screw in the first hole on the servo horn. Everything greesed up on tail..Hmm WTF?? Piro rate sloooww..

Never had this problem on the 450 and could run way higher gain.

Cheers,
Jon

Which tail blades?
Have you upped the gain on the gyro sense menu to say 70 something? Sounds like your "wag" may actually be a real low gain mush...does it hold otherwise?
What's your EPA for rudder channel?

"emag" if i move the ball out then it wags ALOT.

I'll try upping the gain but i did that before it just wags. I've tried a different set up now without the sense menu as my friend said on the phone so i'll try that tomorrow!

Stay tuned!

P.s tail blades are align 3k carbons.

I can't see a thing with that video...but check the tail belt tension, a loose belt can give you wag issues.

Listen and you can hear the wag. The belt is the right tension..

Never had much luck with the gyro sense menu.. I assume you're running an ar7000 with the gain lead in aux2 ? Try inhibiting the gyro sense menu and move to the gear channel. I find that 38 on gear channel is a good place to start. Good Luck!

Check to see if any screws are loose in the tail hub

Set your gain to 53% to start. Move the ball link out on servo wheel to 10mm to start and go out from there. also check to insure your wires to the Gyro is not to tight at the gyro...

Love a Twitchy Heli.... :) and Remmington Model 700

Nothing wrong with using the gyro sense menu...I use it on all my heli's. BUT, with gyro sense, at least with JR/Spectrum radio's any gain over 50% is HH and below is rate mode.

Is your gyro light lit solid indicating HH mode?

I'd start off with 72% gain (which equates to about 32% actual gain) and go from there.

Mine seems to wag in VFFF i.e. in a vertical dive and my setup is spot on with a Solid G and 8900g on the tail, it usually only does it when im pulling out of a fast dive.

60% of the time, it works every time!

I am running 55% on my Futaba with a 401 and 9257 with 5-10% delay. No wag, even in fast tail slides, and now blow outs.
