This sim looks great but I'm still playing with the flight characteristics. The big problem is that there is a noticeable amount of delay between adding input and seeing the result on screen. Even in the calibration. For example, I can count to 2 or three from the time I hit throttle hold until it responded. I haven't tried using the 9303 yet but wanted to use my 9C since it has a lipo pack and not being used for anything else. The supplied futaba adapter does not seem to have a nice fit to the plug but I don't think that is it. Anyone else had this problem?

nope.. thats for sure something on your end.

I fly Spektrums and Phoenix is just as instant as if I were flying for real.

Not sure what it could be though. on mine it was as simple as plugging in the DX6i/DX7 and then telling it what it was and doing the control setup.. boom done..

hmm that's a strange issue man.

Email their support it's fantastic.

I'm on E8500 with 8 gigs of DDR3 and an 8800GTS 512 on Vista 64 just so you can see its not V64.

Using a 9C here and the response seems instant.

I had a typo. I meant to say:

For example, I can count to two or three from the time I hit throttle hold until it responds.

I left out "hold" which made it sound like the lag was worse than it was. I'll try a few things tonight.

No issues, here, prob. your graphic card...I'd email Phoenix tech support, they are extremely quick with responses.

Yes it is certainly still an issue. It is Annoying. Realflight works fine. I'll email tech support.

Please post what their response is and if it worked.

I'm thinking of getting a Phoenix. Most of the problems mentioned in RR are fixed by Phoenix tech support. People seem happy with it. No one can make it perfect the first time but the follow up is most important.

Thanks again.

This hobby is WAY too expensive!!

This is a shot in the dark but it is something that I noticed.

If I run in a "Window Mode" I get a little lag and the frame rate is lower, it is not 2 or 3 secs. but it is there.

Run it in full screen and see if that does anthing.

I am running AMD 9600, NVidia 8800GS, and Vista 64Bit, and in window I only get 22FPS but when I am in full screen I have never seen it drop below 60FPS with everything maxed out.

Their tech support didn't seem to read the whole email so they just asked if it was a problem with all controls or just the one switch. Mr.HillBilly has it. I ran it in full screen (in-game) mode last night and didn't notice any control lag. Had a lot of fun with it after that but the autogyro was disapointing. The whole challenge is getting one to take off and the sim ignores that part and just spins up the rotors. But I don't have one so no big loss.
