I've seen several commercial power distribution boxes at recent fun fly events. They are designed to allow a power supply to be plugged into one port of the box and then provide multiple outlets for the use of several chargers are one time. Some of them have switches, on/off indicator lights, fuses, etc.

Can anyone provide a web link, manufacturer, or source for such a device?

Thanks.

Is this what you had in mind ??
I did a quick google search and came up with this right away.....

You may want to do a little more searching around yourself....

This is a power distribution system to be installed in the aircraft itself. The guys flying the big planes are using these to manage constant, regulated voltage for the various components. These are also very expensive.

BTW, I did several searches on Google and RR yesterday using "power distribution box" and several other variations, but never found exactly what I was looking for. I answer may be in the search name, but I can't think of others.

What I'm talking about is nothing more than a small plastic box with a "buss" for connecting several chargers performing various charging functions at the same time. The fancy ones have switches, LEDs, and fuses. I'd expect them to be in the $50 - $100 range depending upon the number of connectors, etc.

I can build one if need be, but I wanted to see what's out there first - get some idea of the features contained in each one.

JJMAN,

Ok. The one from Integy is the one that I had recently seen. It is exactly what I'm looking for and the price is "right".

Thanks for the help.

I saw these in the January edition of Model Aviation magazine (page 90). Maybe overkill (and over budget) but looks interesting.

Have fun!

Yeah, that is a very nice product, but far more (price and function) than I need.

I ordered the one from Integy yesterday. I'll think it'll do exactly what I need at a price that won't break my "heli bank" <VBG>.

Thanks for taking the time to repond to my request for information.
