From Bill Hedge

I have a TRex 600 EP, and while flying it develped a jerk in the tail!

it will fly fine for a while, then suddenly the tail boom will jek around about four inches or so, have repalced the gyro, the tail servo and problem still exist!

you can take the main blade off, hold tail boom in hand, and it will ge stable for a few seconds maybe a minute and then will jump!

this develpeped while flying, and is driving me nuts! am using a castle creations speed control, and a 401 gyro, and what ever hot dog servo that is suggested!

I doubt its static on a 600

what rec? Post the whole setup

also make sure the gyro is very secure
I had to double tape a 401 once becouse of what we think was a vibration issue

i'm having some similar issues with my New T600E as well. I am down now to thinking it is either the Gyro/Tail servo, the Cyclic Servos or the BEC. it is really frustrating, but you just gotta keep checking each possible component individually until you find out what it is exactly. I am down now to getting a new BEC, if that doesn't fix it then i will be switching out my Cyclic Servos and then after that the 401 will be tested.

"what goes up must come down," hopefully in one piece!

Same here for my 500, and it seems like during the jerking process the head speed goes down also? Its brand new 500, spartan and a AR7000~ I cant figure it out either. I wonder is its a bad speed control? Can I use a trex 600 speed control on my 500 as a tester? I cant even put it into Idle up.. she just wants to spin out of control?

Try moving the 401 to the boom mount if it is not already there.

Mine developed a twitch like that when I replaced the ESC to the 100a. I moved the ESC further forward and moved the gyro to under the boom. I also put a velcro strap on the gyro. That worked.
