Anyone have any tips on how to attach and keep attached the small wings to the sides of tail boom. Manual says to use model glue but this is not working,as the slightest contact to them from anything knocks them off. Also are they needed,or would flight be the same without them? Thanks in advance

airwolf
i used a small bead of clear silicone underneath the fin on my agusta. it gave the fin a little play and hasnt cracked like the glue. i let it sit for a good 24 hrs at room temp. i know the 222 has two separate fins so not sure if it will work. nice airwolf btw. . .

Crashbandicoot, how sturdy is the RVS fuse? I'm looking at getting either this fuse which weighs about 190g compared to the Heliartist fuse which comes in at about 360g, however the Heliartist has a bit more to it with guns and rocket launchers. I'd prefer to go with lighter weight but I don't want something not to flimsy.

These are by no way flimsy, this is the second one of these I have built. The first one was the red and white one. I have seen one of the heliartist ones and to me I like the higher gloss finish of the Fusono fuses myself. As far as sturdy,do not think that matters much when they fall to the ground...lol I did not realize these were that much lighter than the heliartist ones! Really though I think they are a great made fuse and these new RVS ones with the rivets and the improved retract system are much improved.Only thing I will change is how the front of heli attaches at top, currently has two screws and I am mounting magnets. Did this on first one and worked great and gave much quicker access for changing batteries. Good luck!

Thanks mate. The Fusono landing gear appears to be much stronger than the Heliartist gear as well. I've read the HA gear can be damaged on even a slightly rough landing, looks to be 1/8 ply.
RVS it is for me.

Just looked at the all up weight on the RVS - 180g without retract system and wheels (340g include retract system and wheels)
I was looking at fuse weight only, no retract system.
