From Michael Prewitt's website:
11-9-2008 I have given up on the T-Rex 600N. I am not going to bash it, after 382 tanks I simply have problems with the quality of the components. The final straw was a few weeks ago when the blade grip split at the bolt hole. Also I was not able to get this heli to fly smooth like I am use to with my Raptor so I am back to flying Raptor #5 and it has been so much more fun. I don't have to concentrate on being smooth, the heli simply flys this way by its nature. And I am back to enjoying autos again, the Raptor does them so much better then the t600n!

DS 8717 The only thing i can say is just think how good he could smack a better machine, sort of like Alan switching and finally winning.
History doesn't lie.
I think it has to do with skillz .If history doesn't lie then how come colin did better with a pretty much stock raptor when alan's had a full cnc head ect..Please explain this to me..

My point exactly, the raptor was holding Alan back, but then you will never be able to understand that. Like the OP said, whatever happened to the raptor you dont see them any more. What happened?something better and cheaper came along.

No, my original post wasn't a rip on the Raptor. The original post was really poking fun at the way people rave about a product, 2 years later something shinier comes out. Now all of a sudden the same people that were dogging anyone else for flying a different machine won't go near that the heli they were so fanatical about. I love my Raptor. And laugh if you want, my old Hawk was the best heli I ever had. It was easy to work on, and with no expo it was lightning fast on the controls.

Annoying the world one person at a time

So purchasing a Raptor 30 V2 at this time would not be a bad idea?

I think you had too many blade strikes to the head lol, people get better no matter if its a Trex or RAPTOR.Answer the question I asked and dont beat around the bush this time,HOW COME COLIN FLEW THE RAPTOR BETTER THAN ALAN WHEN ALAN'S WAS FULLY MODDED??As for cheaper,I would LOVE to see you prove that one .http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=804219

http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PROCRASH
Now go find your main blades cause they DONT come with them.Keep digging that hole .Back when alan was with Thunder Tiger he was at YOUR level so once again watch both videos and explain why your hero Alan didnt fly the modded R50 like Colin did with a STOCK R50

Sorry to disagree here. I don't think I've seen Alan fly anywhere near as well as he did in the infamous "Sunday at the Lake" video.

So what? It's like saying you need Roger Federer's tennis racquet or you can't enjoy playing tennis.....LMAO at buying because of contest results.Like they aren't flying the prototype stuff of the next generation now.Oh,and the top guys will whip ass on just about any brand.

Didnt say you couldn't enjoy it.Evidently Roger needed a better racquet so he designed or had one designed for him.

Whats a raptor? Velociraptor; meaning 'swift thief', 'swift plunderer' or 'swift bird of prey'[1]) is a genus of dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur that existed approximately 75 to 71 Ma (million years ago) during the later part of the Cretaceous Period.[2] Only two species are currently recognized, although others have been assigned in the past.

LMFAO,this is not even worth me getting off the sim to read all the b.s some of you guys post.If you think you need a over priced Trex just to fly hard 3D,well have fun flying your over priced Trex and putting about a weeks pay check in it when you crash and i'll buy my $80.00 dollar crash kit and tictoc and piro flip over the Trex grave yard when align go's down from ripping people off cause its going to happen .Alot of people are selling them allready cause they dont have the money to keep up on them cause there over priced. When im ready for a REAL 3D heli i'll get a MA,Vibe or Raptor 90 and not some over priced heli that dose the same thing there vacuum's do .Look at how long miniature aircraft and Thunder Tiger has been around,Align will never make it..
