Hi

I'm running the exact same setup and it works like a charm.

It requires you to use the mixes since it's controlled by the gear channel. It's a little messy, but it works fine.

Here is my settings i've tagged it to running about 1950 in stunt 1 and 2150 int stunt 2. In normal i'm just using a throttle curve.

Prog.Mix1
Gear->Gear
Rate: +11
+11
SW:F-S2
Offset: 0

Prog.Mix3
Gear->Gear
Rate: -18
-18
SW:F-S12
Offset: 0

Normal throttle curve can be left linear.
Both Stunt-1 and 2 throttle curves are 100% flat curves allowing the rev-limiter to do it best.

To explain what happens.
When you are in Normal-mode the limiter is actually getting a signal to rev 100% but since it's a limiter will not go higher that your throttle curve.
Mix3 is active in both Stunt-1 and Stunt-2 and will subtract 18 from the gear channel 100-18 thus giving it and output of 82.
When going into Stunt 2 Mix1 adds 11 to Mix3 so 11+82=93 output to the gear channel.
Your numbers may vary so perhaps start with a greater negative value in mix3. Get someone to help you with a tach and adjust as needed.

Regards
Christian

MACANE

thanks for the great explanation. That was exactly what I was looking for. i was confused on how i was going to run the limiter with three modes, now i know. ill work with a higher negative number and slowley work up until i get the desired head speed.

Thanks again.

Never loose airspeed, altitude and ideas all at the same time.

I also do something similar.

More specifically, I set GEAR to INH. This causes a neutral pulse width to be put out on channel 5. The programmable mixes then add and/or substract from this. Because the GEAR switch still functions (with respect to the progammable mixes), you can actually use this to your advantage and have 4 gain values available.
