I've got +/- 10 degrees of pitch in normal and stunt mode. Right now my throttle and pitch curves are linear. My swash mix (pitch +100). What did I do wrong? Before the last crash, I was at +/- 10 in stunt, but +10 -5 in normal.

Hope my question is clear.

Normal mode pitch curve should be around 30-40-50-75-100 to get +10/-5 deg. pitch and linear picth curve for the rest (0-25-50-75-100).

Hope that helps.

It does. The pitch curve was my guess, but it's hard to work on the heli without the boss seeing.

Does the pitch swash mix look ok? Seems like it may be high, but I don't know.

The stock setting in the swash mix for Pitch is 85%, + or - depending on the servos you are using.

Good luck.

Does that mean my swash plate is too high or too low? Or does it matter as long as everything is level and the pitch is +/- 10 degrees?

Does it bind anywhere at full + or - pitch?

I always start by centering the swash, at mid-stick, between the high & low travel of the wash out, checking for any binding, and go from there.

400 3D set up question
Maybe I am missing something here but if your throttle curve is linear in stunt mode, that is your problem - Try 100-95-90-95-100, or something real close to that - definitely 100 at each end.

jheli,

Your right. My mistake. My stunt throttle setting is not linear.
