Changed 15t for 16t pinion using green loctide r48 .Let it dry for 2 days. Crashed after break out while flying backwards inv hurricane.
Situation after crash:
Pinion was lowered about 3mm on my motor axe. Also the main gear wasn't damaged while the head and the blades were. This gives me the feeling that the pinion has slipped.

Are there others with this problem ?
What is the solution for better fastening ?

Setup

250 combo with align servo's, stock motor and esc
401 gyro with jr3500g (waiting for Spartan)
spectrum 6100 receiver
Zippy 3s 800 20c and Outrage 3s 850 25C
RAZR blades

thx for sharing

Patrick

Use real green Loctite, not r48.

There's no way I could fly this heli with a threadlocked pinion and trust it. It may work, but I won't do it.

I got some of these. They came in 4 days and I selected the cheaper shipping option. Worth it if you will be doing 3D with the heli, if you ask me..

(doh, looks like they just went out of stock )
