Tips
post your tips for 250 here..

1. grease your oneway bearing for long life

2. ESC under battery tray .. give good balance and no radio jam

3. Use Align small tailblade (the big one will break tail hub in long run due to big area/weight)

4. cut each end of swash link-rod 1.5 mm. (the stock too long and too much tight during balllink assemble)

5. the stock damper ,i feel too soft.. now switch to the light yellow damper from helidirect.com - now Hard3D OK / sharp track

6. Bounch on pitch change ? you no need to set the -pitch for lowest stick, weight of the heli will give you soft land @middle stick position and. .. no need to set +pitch over than 9 too for normal mode , the rotor RPM too much than enought(over 4000 rpm).
Mine is 0 and +9 for normal and -9+9 for idle/stunt

7. cost of new main gear to replace damage maingear too pain ?
Remove bearing house and put into new gear (the aluminium tube with oneway+normal bearing inside) see pic.

bearing housing is aluminium one above

press to new maingear

ready to add grease and put back to heli.

8. If you have bad oneway bearing and need to change. Align have spare part for a oneway bearing and normal bearing in one package.(part number is H25018)
Just remove bad one and replace new good one without change main gear .. but you need tool .. see pic.

remove/install bearing tools

full set tool you need

9. you really need to sizer most of balllink...especialy rudder push rod both tail and servo horn side.

10. to minimize vibration with gyro tray.. epoxy it with main frame.

11. the upgrade 16teeth gear too loose with motor shaft ?
made modify.. slot and pin How to ? use dremel tool with carbide tools made slot rail on motor shaft and pinion. Find a small pin or grind yourself from small steel rod and put into slot.(Epoxy it if need)

Sorry for my eNgLiSH grammar .. hope you understand well

Do you need more tips ???

slop on flybar cage.
Add shim to flybar cage, or file/cut each end of cage rod component.

Tip #13
Screw and bolt head too soft.. blur and damage easy if you pay too much force to drive in/out. Hex screw driver useless for those blur head screw/bolt. How to handle ?

- Plier is the answer for blur head
- Use only 2 fingers to work with hex screw driver (to minimize force)
- Do not over tighten (head will damage)
- Burn the screw/bolt head (made the locktite soft)and easy to remove

Tip #15
3.5 g. Paddles (total weight for 2pices)
give very far 3D performance from white stock one(4g.).
Fast but still stable in 3D flight

Tip #16
The real problem for 250 ..weak skid solved! copy from previous post..

I don't want to get the same problem with stock one.. after received them from postman - i try to test before install into my 250helicopter. I drop over 40Kilograms of hard steel round block from 1.5M. height to skid..In the VDO result..no damage no break with suddenly impact force.I found someone test by place foot over them or bend with hand..this test method not work. The skid break because impact force during crash. I am happy for now, my 250 absolutly perfect
