It's on the other website, not Innov8tive...

http://www.scorpionsystem.com/catalog/motors/hk40/HK-4025-1100-12n8p/

Spoke with a guy at Innov8tive a day ago, he told me that the 4025-1100 would be in stock at their website in a week or so. Hope this is helpful.

That’s great news. All the US dealers will probably have them in stock shortly after that.

I've been hearing this so I figured I'd ask, does the Scorpion 4025 fit in the 600E CF frame w/o modification? If not. what exactly do you have to do? I did a search on RR for this subject, but was unsuccessful. Thanks for the help!

You just need to cut the frame away slightly with a Dremel, it takes seconds and doesn't affect the strength of the frame.

Just so everyone knows, the 4025-1100 is for sale on Innov8tives website now. I just ordered mine. Thinking of going with a 15T pinion.

According to the specs the 890kv can produce more watts at a lower amp draw than the 1100kv?

That’s because running a lower Kv motor and a higher voltage is more efficient. The 100 Kv is for those who don’t want to upgrade to 8s or 10s.

Nah, the 1100kv motor is for those who are struggling to find a pinion for the 890! I quote "This motor has the higher Kv needed to use the currently available pinion gears when running on 6 to 8 Li-Po cells."

Good information. I am ordering the 1100 today just because I want one.

The difference in watts between the 890 and the 1100 is 180 watts, not that much of a difference. 2200 watts is right at 3HP! If you can't run a 600E on 3HP, you got problems... lol. IMO shouldn't be a noticeable difference, and a good trade off for guy's like me who have a bunch of 6s packs, and aren't ready to give them up. And the amp draw should be quite a bit lower on 6s with the 1100kv than the 890kv motor as it's not having to have as steep of a pinion on it to maintain headspeed. I could be wrong, we'll see mine should be here in a couple of days.

The 1100kv motor will be very good and will have loads of power but ide put money on it that it is not as efficient as the 890 despite the larger pinion needed.

It's hard to say by the data on Innov8tives website, as both test were conducted at different voltages. I'm sure I won't be disappointed going from the 600XL to the 1100...

2500hs is way too high for 100% throttle let alone 80%! Ive 3D'd a 450 on that hs! The 890 on 8s would have plenty of power trust me! I have the 890 on 6s and it is a power house! The 1100kv would also work on 8s. Alan Szabo uses the stock 6s setup.
