You don't even own this heli any more. What do you care about a belt? You don't see Protos owners in the logo thread asking the designers questions about parts after you said on other forums that you wouldn't "do it all over again" do ya?? No.

You got too much time on your hands bro.
Again it was an honest question, as a customer why should I not care and be treated any different than anyone else out there? You or whoever you represent are mad at me for identifying an issue that was in fact there and now been resolved, once again to sound like a broken record that I acknowledged had been rectified? This is your issue??? That was how long ago now?

For being your first post on RunRyder you sure seem to think you know me? BTW how would you know what I own? I own "SEVERAL" helis my friend of "various" brands, including this one for your information. Secondly you do see users that own other helis come into other forums and ask about that particular why you might ask, casue perhaps they own one, maybe their friend owns one etc.

Perhaps if you told us your real tag name from "other" forums you mention I could couple your attitude towards me with your very first post on this one, under your Alias name. Since you are mentioning of knowing so much, it is obvious you are hiding under an unknown name. A good man picks his battles with facts and with his own name and might, you sir have none of those, I bid you a good day.

BTW if you wish me to post examples of some owners who own Protos heli in Logo forums asking designer questions and what not,,, as you so mention I can likley scoop you up a couple dozen no problem, let me know...

Done with the thread, be man enough to use your real handle or PM me with your personal beef if you wish. I have let go long time ago, please man up and end the drama.

Expertrcpilot, he was looking at buying one, now that the bugs have been worked out of it.
The bugs have been worked out partially because of Shawn's being very vocal about the issues he had with the early kit. Many people were prepared to stick their heads in the sand and ignore the problems, from what I've heard and read.
I say props to Shawn for pushing the evolution of the protos forward, and big props to Corrado for responding quickly with updates to make this a great little heli.

It's unfortunate that they seem to be out of sorts with one another, Shawn flies harder than 99.9% of the pilots out there, if there's a potential weakness, he'll find it, and make sure the manufacturer knows about it. That's exactly what happened with the protos, and why your protos' blades now track properly, and your tailcase doesn't randomly explode in flight.
If I were you,"expertrcpilot", I would say thank you, and please, please buy another protos, to 0ICU812.

OICU definitely is a great pilot... his video of the tracking issue was convincing. To the point that the problem was resolved!!

Raytang, what are you using to lubricate the belt? How many crashes, and how hard? I ask because I have well over 25 flights and 2 crashes on mine and it's still going strong, same with the flybar carrier, I haven't broken that yet either. I may need some crash lessons... lol

those break after every single crash. I've flown mine for a few months hard without any problems. Failures generally come from overlooking things from a previous crash.

I too at first did not understand what Corrado was saying. However, I think I do now. I think what he was saying was every time someone makes a post about a part on a heli breaking like that, it is soon than that someone has a "better" part available. Like it is planned out so they can offer their part for sale. Ha ha. If I am correct Corrado, good point. You are 100% correct.

With this level of customer service and how this heli flies, IMHO opinion, every other heli in the 500 size and the company that makes it is not even in the same field as MSH.

~oo~ Stop fogging up my glasses
