up for auction is my beloved trex 450 SE v1 with various upgrades to say that it is used would be an understatement, however it was treated well and maintained to the best of my ability. Paypal is preferred method of payment, looking to get $180 shipped for the lot, I will consider parting items out after the auction has been listed for 1 week.
1 trex 450 SE v1 airframe with various upgrades and field repairs
new mainshaft, spindle, flybar, flybar paddles installed
new maingear installed
lower side frames have fractured due to numerous poor autos, repaired using spare carbon fiber from a set of broken main blades and flown several dozen flights in this condition with no apparent reduction in performance, not quite friendly on eye for some, one spare lower mainframe is included in the spares, so if you desired to fix this properly only one spare lower frameset would be needed.
The bottom plate is broken in several places and held together with glue, a new in package bottom plate is included among the spares listing below
The gorilla landing gear are intentionally of different heights to give the helicopter a nose down aggressive look and to keep the tail out of the grass when the heli is on the ground
The tail case has several stripped screws, many of which have been replaces with slightly larger screws to retap the tailcase metal and hold it together, it holds together and flies fine, however it is important to mention that there is probably one screw that is stripped and not upgraded to a slightly larger screw. The tail hub has some weight added to increase tail authority and reduce the amount of force needed to control the tail. Silver CF vertical tail fin painted with bright green and pink paint for visibility.
Tail boom clamp in the main frame is mounted upside down for ease of gyro installation, also included is a custom made lexan gyro mount should you choose to re-orient the tail boom clamp.
Upper main frame servo cutouts have been carefully upened with a file to better accommodate hs65s so that the wire need not be brutally force through the frame during installation
The head has aftermarket dampeners and flies quite well, some slop is developing, the head and metal blade grips have numerous cosmetic scratches upon close inspection, if you are nitpicky or meticulous this will probably drive you crazy, see pictures for my best attempt at detailed photos highlighting the condition of the head assembly.
The underside of the swash plate has taken some damage from rubbing against the mast collar due to an error in endpoint adjustment, after making the necessary adjustments it has run fine with no problems but it noticeably ground up on the underside - this does not appear to effect performance and is not visible except when servicing.
Many extras, listed to the best of my knowledge, see pictures for details

1 spare main gear autorotation assembly, missing 1 of the 4 screws that holds the main gear to the assembly, was lost when changing main gears at the field, this assembly works fine even without the one screw, it is nice to have a whole assembly ready to swap in at the field, the plastic main gear on this assembly is stripped, there is a new plastic main gear sitting next to it, along with a new spare lower auto rotation gear,
2 old style main gears and auto hub, unsure of how good they are
1 painted plastic tail fin pink and green
1 spare gorilla gear landing skip orange
1 old tail hub assembly, replaced attempted to determine tail shake, not sure if this is good or needs new bearings?
