you should have no problems
The hard part is making the base plate although this is not"hard"if you look back over the JR conversion threads it is very well covered with lots of pics.

I thought this thread had died as well.

Shawmacy, the only pics I have of my bird are at the end of page 4. Need to get some more when I get flying.
Recovering from a shoulder reconstruction and finding weather I am happy to fly in.

As the others have stated nothing too hard here, only wee problem I had was getting the clutch to line up initially.

I've only put a gallon through mine since I finished it. Had a problem with the exhaust falling off - hoping I have fixed that with Prematex Ultra Copper.

JR Vigor CS gasser
Here are some progress pics of my Vigor CS gasser conversion. The fan, shroud and clutch hub are all Century (pre-NX) Predator parts. I still need to open the hole in the shroud some for airflow. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. The engine is a Zenoah 26cc. (stock) and it will be swinging TT 710's.

The only part that was any problem at all (so far) was getting the clutch hub shortened .411" Other than that it was relatively easy!

I finished putting in the zenoah last night... all I need to do now is the fuel line from the tank put the boom back on and test fly

Thats a good idea,fitting the plate under the skids,must save quite a bit of work and i can see less cutting of the frame and mounts,good job

Yeh I thought I would try mounting under the skids just made it easier than find someone with a lathe and lets plenty of air into the fan as I had cooling problems with my TSK

Hi All

Well the vibe gasser was flying really well with about 10 tanks through it, when the tail shaft broke in half while flying.

Does anyone no what may have caused this to happen

Tail-rotor drive shaft broke in half? That's a new one! my tail servo decided to lock up on me during takeoff... I fought it as long as I could till it started heading towards the pits.. Hit T/H & put it into the fence. To pissed to fix it! Flying my plank's for awhile till I get the bug back. Yours a total loss?
